The Kuwait Meteorological Center warns of a dangerous heatwave today, with temperatures expected to reach an extreme 51 °C at Kuwait International Airport and in parts of Kuwait City. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will persist throughout the day at 8–35 km/h, shifting occasionally to variable. Coastal and urban areas will heat up rapidly under clear skies, with overnight lows expected to stay around 34 °C.
